Travelling by bike: it is may be the best way to visit a country in total freedom. It is a mean of transport that allows a great proximity to the nature and people.

Already 6 years ago, we had a dream: to travel around the world by tandem. Over time, this dream has evolved, has become more accurate and has become real. August 20th 2001, we will leave Dieppe (Normandy France) to Jerusalem.

This desire of leaving has only reason our willing to share through two dimensions:
Share the whole trip with young people of Dieppe: its preparations, its pogress and its outcome.
Incite people in the using of bike as a diary mean of transportation. Riding in bike is not reserved to weekend sportsmen but must be possible for anybody in any diary movements.

Who are we ?

Knows her limits and is able to moderate the effort; is thrusty of discoveries and of sharing: Courageous and temerous.
She was born on a boat, and has learnt to walk, to talk, to write ... on a boat.

Man of driving ambition but reasonable
Goes always to the end of what he undertakes
Likes a lot riding (some little trips alone when he was younger)

Many years of scoutism: organisation of moving camp by bike.

By tandem, both of us: Fregus-Gap and Brive- Bordeaux, in order to test men and the equipment
By bike, every day and separetly, home-work the morning, work-home the evening.

In order to apprecaite the pleasure of our tandem, it is necessary to have a good quality equipment, adapted to the use we want to do from it.

That is why we have chosen the competence and the expwerience of Rando- Cycles, specialist in  the fabrication of on measures'bikes for globe-trottersand around worldist. Thank to Paul Domela and its equip.

We have statred the fabrication of a tandem on measure in October 2000.
The choice of the frame has been the fisrt criteria of selection, regarding of the type of the trip we wished to undertake. It is indeed the corpse of the bike.

Its three main qualities are: rigidity, lightess and stability.

Our will be in iron, more rigid, more solid and above all more mendable () anywhere (in any countries the least equiped).
